Shipped AI products

Ten products, each with a live URL and a public repo. Eight were built at hackathons or innovation challenges in one to five days; one, Stuckato, is an ongoing business with my sister, a professional violinist and teacher. Newest first.

Research

PhD in computational neuroscience, UCL (2025), with Hugo Spiers. MSc Translational Neuroscience, Imperial College London (2021). BSc Neuroscience, First Class, University of Edinburgh (2020).

My doctoral work sits between spatial cognition and machine learning. I built a custom multiplayer Minecraft environment in Java to record two people navigating together while their prefrontal activity was measured with fNIRS, a 32-participant dual-brain study. Separately, I modelled a navigation-app dataset of more than 800 players to ask how sleep, driving, gaming and GPS reliance shape the way people find their way. Alongside the PhD I led collaborations with Arup and RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) that turned LLM-rated free-text responses and behavioural data into architectural decisions built at two sites.

The through-line is the same one as the products: take a behaviour that matters and build a model, or a tool, that changes what someone can do.

Contact

Open to research and engineering roles where the model has to work in someone's life, not just in a paper. Happy to talk about a hackathon team, a collaboration, or a concert.
